Galleria Park Hotel – San Francisco

Galleria Park Hotel, a Joie de Vivre property in San Francisco’s Financial District, has revealed a multimillion-dollar renovation to its entrance, lobby, and mezzanine.

Newly renovated, historically significant, stunningly unique, and the only Forbes-recommended boutique hotel in San Francisco’s Financial District, Galleria Park Hotel is an urban haven that combines the art deco bones of the 1911 building and art nouveau design elements with contemporary touches and modern amenities. With stylish rooms in calming, comfortable hues, it is ideally located for exploring Union Square, the Ferry Building, SOMA, Moscone Convention Center, Chinatown, shopping, restaurants, nightlife, and museums.

Yet, in the midst of such a downtown setting, the hotel also features a beautiful rooftop garden – Crocker Galleria Terrace (photo by Camille Doue).

Fully reimagined as of 2017, featuring custom furnishings, a palette of fresh neutrals, and eclectic accents infusing a sense of sophisticated glamour into the residential feel of the space. Highlights include marble-topped desks, warm wood Venetian blinds to suit the era of the space, and “splattered” antiqued mirrored surfaces. Silvered gray headboards complement the crisp white linens.

The subtle palette is accented by contemporary works of art hung throughout each room, providing bold pops of color. This sleek and sophisticated design scheme continues into the bathroom, with gray Paul Klee-inspired mosaic tile, textured ebony wood, and clean white surfaces.  All rooms include signature Joie de Vivre beds, Illy espresso machines, a fully stocked honor bar with mini-fridge, sweet and savory treats, and a work/play desk with an ergonomic chair.

Named Best French Bistro by San Francisco Magazine, Gaspar is a French brasserie offering modern mid-20th-century Parisian style dining. Delight in the menu of approachable French classics updated to showcase the Bay Area’s freshest ingredients. The upstairs bar focuses on Cognac cocktails while the downstairs bar specializes in Champagne, a local favorite. At lunch and dinner, Gaspar offers an escape from the bustling downtown atmosphere.

For an Urban Amenity Fee of $20 per night, the Galleria Park offers a range of amenities to make guests feel at home including a 24-hour on-site fitness center, in-room fitness kits, daily newspaper, pet-friendly accommodations, Park Terrace access with a walking track, high-speed Wi-Fi, morning coffee and tea service, dry cleaning and laundry services, printing and concierge services, and Valet Parking ($54/night plus tax regular, $64/night plus tax oversize).
