Kudadoo Private Island – Maldives

Hurawalhi Maldives Resort, which is home to the largest underwater restaurant in the world, is launching a luxury, adults-only island called Kudadoo Maldives, set to open for business this coming spring as an all-inclusive destination.

Officially inaugurated in January, the five-star Hurawalhi resort offers 90 villas including 60 Ocean Villas and 30 Beach Villas for grown-ups who are seeking luxury and innovation. The villas are stylishly and beautifully conceived featuring soothing décor, sumptuous linens on king size beds, bleached wooden floors, and private terraces with panoramic views.

However, Kudadoo promises to take Maldives’ resort luxury to new heights with this exclusive, private island surrounded by a beautiful lagoon, house reef, and long stretches of white sandy beach. The island will be serviced by Hurawalhi Maldives Resort, located a mere five-minute away, and will allow guests to make full use of all the facilities of a larger resort, including Hurawalhi’s signature 5.8 Undersea Restaurant.

Kudadoo will be accessible by a scenic 40-minute seaplane ride from the Maldives’ main Velana International Airport and will house 13 Ocean Villas of 300 square meters (one bedroom) and two Ocean Villas of 380 square meters (two bedrooms), all with infinity pools, sunset views and a personal butler. The Ocean Villas offer privacy, spaciousness, and comfort. They feature a contemporary design that resembles the epitome of tropical chic with clean lines, earth tone colors and natural building materials which harmonize perfectly with the surrounding lush, landscaped vegetation on the unspoiled island.

Villa amenities will include state-of-the-art electronics (54-inch TV and surround sound system); IPTV with a range of latest movies, series, and TV channels; fully automated lights with dimming ability, energy-efficient cooling system; handmade furniture; iMac computer for guests’ use; and Tasmanian oak flooring, all serviced by a personal butler.

Kudadoo will also come complete with its own over-water restaurant and bar and a haven of relaxation in the form of the award-winning Duniye Spa, inspiring both with unpretentious elegance and an emphasis on personalized well-being.
