Niagara Falls Winter Festival of Lights

The 39th annual Ontario Power Generation Winter Festival of Lights in Niagara Falls, Ontario, is almost doubling the amount of time you can visit the winter magic of twinkling lights and larger-than-life holiday displays.  Thus, the new slogan of 101 Nights of Twinkling Lights.

This year, Canada’s largest FREE outdoor light festival will begin on November 16, 2024, and end January 5, 2025Everyone is invited to this bright and joyous Niagara tradition to explore the beauty of 3 million lights and 75+ dazzling displays.  The vivid exhibits will adorn the Niagara Parkway, Dufferin Islands, and select streets across the tourism districts.  Additionally, this year, family-friendly entertainment is planned along the festival route.

So, bundle up for a brisk walk along the route, or see it from the comfort of your vehicle.  A third option is to watch from a hotel or restaurant window.  The OPG Winter Festival of Lights route is a total of 8 km (5 mi), so some driving and parking may be recommended for those with young children and older adults. Paid parking is available in the Falls Parking Lot across from the Table Rock Centre, at Skylon Tower, Fallsview Casino, and on Clifton Hill.
