Atlantis Bahamas is located on Paradise Island, which is connected by two bridges to Nassau. The massive hotel complex features multiple accommodation options and several restaurants, bars, and lounges, as well as a sprawling waterpark, plenty of entertainment, and a lively casino. The sister property of Atlantis Dubai, which is located on iconic Palm Jumeirah island in the Arabian Gulf is sometimes mistaken for Atlantis Bahamas because it looks very similar and houses many of the same amenities.
Atlantis Bahamas accommodations include:
- The Beach — very basic and furthest from the action
- The Coral — slightly upgraded from The Beach, near many of the restaurants and shops
- The Royal — the iconic pink towers
- The Cove — upgraded suites
- The Reef — luxury suites and penthouses
Each of these sections comes at a different price (via nightly rate or vacation package) and each offers a different experience of the resort.
A total of 23 eateries including a mix of upscale restaurants and moderate cafes can be found on-site. Meal plans are available or guests can pay as they go.
The famous Aquaventure is a 141-acre waterpark with complimentary admission for overnight guests of Atlantis. The park features over twenty million gallons of water, high-speed water slides, a mile-long river ride with rolling rapids, 20 swimming areas, and 11 swimming pools. This is all set on a stunning tropical landscape that also features a marine habitat and interactive experiences. Additionally, Dolphin Cay is available for swimming with dolphins.
Cruise ships that dock in Nassau, Bahamas as a port-of-call suggest the purchase of Aquaventure day passes so their passengers can enjoy the waterpark although they are not guests of the hotel. The same is true for guests of other hotels.
