Luxury Junior Suite Bay View

The suites come in two categories – Luxury Junior Suite and Luxury Junior Suite Diamond Club, with each category offering different views.  These stylish rooms are located in two white high-rise buildings that sit side.  Front-facing rooms offer a view of the bay, rear racing rooms offer a view of a forested mountainside.

Suites are spacious and modern, very clean, and decorated in subtle earth tones with blue splashes of accent. Each can accommodate up to four people with features that include a balcony or terrace, satellite television including specialty channels, a minibar with complimentary snacks and beverages; an in-room electronic safe; Bluetooth audio stations and USB charging stations; unlimited Wi-Fi, coffee maker, garment steamer, and iron; and 24-hour room service.

To the left of the high rises, guests will find an assortment of amenities that stretch across an arm of land that includes a sandy beach, and then six over-water bungalows extend across the turquoise waters of the inlet on the other side.

Overwater Bungalow

These pricey, adults-only accommodations are wrapped in natural wood and include a king-size bed, an in-suite Jacuzzi, and a glass floor in the living area so guests can enjoy the marine life below.  They also come complete with a swim-out infinity plunge pool, an overwater hammock for ultimate relaxation, and personal butler service.

On-site amenities include a fitness center for yoga, pilates, CrossFit, kickboxing, and more.  There is also a wellness spa and salon for massages, body treatments, facials, waxing, manicures and pedicures, and hair and make-up services.  This feature works well for on-site luxury wedding packages.  Other resort features offered at Royal Antigua include a kids club, a teens club, cooking and dance lessons, medical services, a gift shop, an on-site tour operator, and laundry services. Plus there is free wi-fi throughout the property.  Sports and recreation encompass a beach volleyball court, ping pong, tennis, aqua fitness, snorkeling, kayaking, and other non-motorized water sports.  And in the evenings, shows and live performances can be enjoyed in the open-air theatre.

Hunter Steakhouse

For the most part, the resort scores high with guests for cuisine options and food quality. On-site dining features eight restaurants and bars that are a combination of upscale and casual.  Gourmet Marche is an international buffet for breakfast, lunch, or dinner.  A la carte dinners are also offered at Hunter Steakhouse, Grazie Italian Trattoria for Italian cuisine, and Caribbean Restaurant and Grill for Caribbean cuisine and simpler dishes like grilled chicken, nachos, and fresh sorbet.  Plus, there is a Chef’s Table for a culinary experience. Lunch and daytime snacking can be found at Beach Club Grill,  or at Scoops Gelato and Caffe Lounge.  For sports, pub foods, and drinks, Royalton Antigua provides Score Brewhouse. Additional bars include Chill Pool Bar, Diamond Club Lounge, and Martini Mix.
