However, to simplify the categories, the Junior Suite covers six of those categories with the main difference being the view — resort, garden, pool, or oceanfront —and the higher-end Junior Suites adding the option of a swim-out, or a walk-out terrace and direct access to the beach. After that, the One-Bedroom suite offers more space with 1,331 sq ft that includes a bedroom and living room, a bar and dining room for six, and an exclusive Beach Cabana. The Presidential Suite takes it a notch higher with a penthouse unit totaling 1,959 sq ft and includes a large living area, dining area, a separate bedroom, and shower in addition to a double whirlpool tub, plus a private rooftop terrace with a pool.
All suites contain flat-screen TVs, an in-room safe, a restocked mini-bar, robes, a hair dryer, and bathroom amenities. Additional upscale features include turndown service, jetted tubs, a Nespresso gourmet coffee machine, and wi-fi.
Dining options include an international buffet called Spice, along with several cuisine options. These include Kalamata for Mediterranean Cuisine; Asiana for Asian fusion; Rincon Mexicano or Maria Petrona for traditional Mexican food; Pelicanos for Caribbean fusion; and Chef’s Plate International haute cuisine.
Additional food and beverage sites include Tequileria, a bar specializing in tequila, the poolside Trade Winds bar; La Merjorada for everything from beer to fine wine, and the 24-hour Sports Lounge for games of pool, street foods, premium spirits, Mexican beer, and fine cigars. Aromas Coffee House serves a variety of coffee, tea, and pastries, and Barefoot Snack Bar, located near the main pool features pizzas, paninis, salads, and smoothies, plus assorted snacks and drinks. Room service options are available 24 hours a day.
The resort offers in-pool hot tubs, a relaxation pool, and an Olympic-sized, freshwater pool featuring a 164-foot lap lane. Pool activities include water volleyball and Saturday-night Foam Parties. Zumba classes are among the daily activities along with salsa and merengue classes, billiards, ping-pong, and tennis.
The on-site fitness center offers aerobics, pilates, spinning classes, and a Fitness Challenge. To relax afterward, visit the Innan Spa for massages, steam baths, body therapies, facials, and body waxing. Manicure, pedicure, hair and makeup services are also available.
