What to Expect at Conrad Punta de Mita – Nayarit, Mexico

Punta Mita is located on the north end of Banderas Bay in the Mexican state of Nayarit, approximately 10 miles north of Puerto Vallarta, and is quickly becoming a new tourist hot spot with new hotels in the region.  The Conrad Punta de Mita, which opened in the summer of 2020, is among them.

Situated on a vast stretch of beach and boasting 324 guestrooms and suites, numerous restaurants and bars, three pools, and a spa; here’s what to expect at Conrad Punta de Mita.

 

Accommodations

To ensure less crowding, the resort has opened with a selection of 324 guestrooms and suites. For those seeking more seclusion and exclusivity, particularly for those traveling in small groups, villa-like ‘Casas that combine guestrooms and suites are also available, some featuring large patios, plunge pools, freestanding soaking tubs, and outdoor showers.

The resort is also rolling out Hilton CleanStay, the company’s standard of cleanliness and disinfection in properties around the world.

Dining

Four restaurant and three bar concepts offer menus and experiences that pay tribute to age-old techniques. Upon arrival guests will enjoy a traditional ‘Raicilla’-based welcome drink at TUKI, the resort’s lobby bar. MESQUITE is where to go for a casual lunch while debuting in the fall will be specialty restaurant CODEX, featuring traditional Mexican fare with locally sourced ingredients.

Here, guests will be able to enjoy the seasonal Full Moon Experience complete with a SICIRI menu curated by the phases of the moon, on-property mezcal tasting, and discussions with a local farmer on the health benefits of their crops and herbs used to prepare the meal.

Amenities & Experiences

On-site, guests will find three expansive pools, a sandy beach, and an outdoor fitness lawn for yoga and stretching. They also have access to the Litibu Golf Course as well as experiential visits to a local fish market.

The Conrad SPA, spread across 10,000 square feet, offers a unique indoor/outdoor design complete with seven cocoon treatment cabanas and the first-ever traditional Temazcal in a Hilton property.
