This Robert Trent Jones II design blends the best of everything the terrain has to offer with 2 layouts on-site — an Executive 9-Hole course and a Championship 18-hole course. They include sweeping fairways and greens as well as ponds and lakes that provide additional hazards on the course. It also includes the Mayan jungle and all the flora and fauna that go along with it. It’s not uncommon to see coatimundi or deer on the fairway, or an abundance of iguana sunning themselves on the greens. A wide variety of birds and reptiles coexist in the area, as well as several exotic mammals like monkeys, ocelots, and jaguars. As luck would have it, we caught a boa sunning itself on the greens early in the morning.
